Sales
Create a sales order
Record an order from a customer, with their prices, terms and any extra charges.
Go to Sales and click New Sales Order.
Search for the customer and select them. Their payment terms and price level fill in for you. Add their Customer Order # if they gave you one.
- Ship From — the location the stock comes from.
- Order Date and Delivery Date.
- Payment Terms and Price Level — change them if this order is different.
- Comments / Notes — any instructions.
Under Line Items, search by SKU or name and select each product. Enter the quantity.
The Unit Price comes from the customer's price level. You can change it, or add a Disc % to a line. Each line shows whether there's stock at the ship-from location.
To add a kit, see Add a kit to an order.
- Additional Charges — freight, installation or other services.
- Order Discount — a percentage or amount off the whole order.
Button What it does Save Draft Saves it to finish later. Drafts don't set stock aside. Save Quote Saves it as a quote for the customer to accept. Only shows if quotes are on. See Send a quote. Create Sales Order Makes it an Open order, ready to fulfil.
